drake and morgan was established in march 2008 and the refinery was the first venue to open. following this, the parlour opened in october 2009 in canary wharf, and site number three, the anthologist, opened on gresham street in the city in april 2010. the folly opened on gracechurch street in early november 2010 and site number five, the drift, opened in heron tower on the 4th of july 2011.

the refinery
is designed to be an all-day and evening venue which adapts to your mood whether it's a business brunch, social drinks, or a dinner with friends.

a seasonal menu focuses on organic and local ingredients with an impressive cocktail and wine list to match. the refinery is a concept bar which opened in september 2008 and is the first of a number of venues planned for london by drake & morgan, a new bar group established in february 2008 and headed by managing director jillian maclean.

 

Retailers' Retailers of the year awards 2011 We are very pleased to have been nominated for this year's 'emerging concept' category for the retailers' retailer of the year awards.
 
Smart Green Business we're delighted that the refinery has been given the events academy award for 'outstanding community supporter 2011'. the better bankside events academy is an innovative work experience project which recruits a team of young people aged 16-21 based in SE1, and tasks them with organising a networking event for local companies.
 

the buttercup project


we are pleased to announce that drake & morgan has launched the buttercup project - a heartfelt commitment to sustainability, the environment and our local communities. launched across all our sites we hope to start making a difference. drake & morgan is proud to support hauser bears and for every veggie & hummus sandwich purchased across all of our sites, we will make a 50p contribution to hauser bears. view more info.

the first initiative of the buttercup project is for drake & morgan to pledge five key actions across all sites to the sustainable restaurant association and our pledges can be viewed here.

the refinery proudly supports london bees and recognises local suppliers and the actions of capitalbee to help grow the popularity of urban honey within the london community.
